WEVELGEM, Belgium (Reuters) - Spain's Oscar Freire of the Rabobank team won the Ghent-Wevelgem cycle race on Wednesday.
Freire, a three-time world road race champion, beat Switzerland's Aurelien Clerc and Belgium's Wouter Weylandt in a sprint finish.
Freire's victory in the 70th edition of the race was the first by a Spanish rider.
