Liam Dickinson believes assistant boss Peter Ward has forgiven him for pulling down his shorts after scoring against Darlington on Saturday.Dickinson, who grabbed his 17th goal of the season in a 1-0 victory, claims his outlandish underwear has been the talk of the dressing room.

And having bought Ward a pair, the forward was determined to show them off to the Edgeley Park faithful.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "I got Wardy a pair and brought them in - I said wear them, but if I score they are coming down.

"I think he got a bit nervous when I scored and was trying to get away, but they came down.

"He was all right about it, he was buzzing that we scored."
