Coventry defender Danny Fox has apologised for letting his team-mates down after his mistake against Watford cost the side a valuable point. The left-back misjudged a bouncing ball and as the ball skipped away from him Watford forward, Tommy Smith, moved in to give the Hornets all three points.
The 21-year-old said: "We were 10 minutes away from a vital point and I hold my hands up, it was my mistake and I have got to be big enough to accept it."
"I just feel sorry for the lads because it was a silly mistake by me. I just misread it."
Fox, has been a key member of Chris Coleman's side after he joined from Walsall in January and believes the side are one win away from securing their safety.
He added: "I have got to take it on the chin and play on next Saturday and hopefully help the team get the result we need against Stoke. I think we only need one more win."
