Hartlepool defender Ritchie Humphreys has revealed he is determined to finish the League One season on a high despite a disappointing campaign.Lying in 13th, Pools look likely to finish in mid-table and only seem to have pride to play for this season, but Humphreys is adamant his side must not let the rest of the season fizzle out and is urging his team-mates to make the most of their remaining fixtures.
The 30-year-old told the club's official website: "We're not mathematically safe but the little run we had several weeks ago got us out of any real relegation battle and it took the pressure off everybody.
"It was just unfortunate that we couldn't keep that run going and get ourselves up near the play-offs, but that has been our season this year really.
"We have four games left now and we'll be looking for four wins to finish as high as we can."
