Charlton manager Alan Pardew is backing striker Leroy Lita to fire his side to promotion - if they can reach the play-offs.After a slow start to life at The Valley, on-loan Reading frontman Lita has now scored three goals in his last two games - including a brace in the 2-1 win over Plymouth.
Despite their patchy recent run, the Addicks are still just two points off the top six and Pardew is hoping the former England Under-21 star is hitting form at the right time.
"He's had a few games to settle in and there has been a little bit of criticism of him, but I think you can see now that he definitely has the talent to get us promoted if we can get in the play-offs," said Pardew.
"It is a long shot, but we will give it a go."
