Rangers striker Kris Boyd insists he has no intention of leaving Ibrox.
Boyd scored his 24th goal of the season in the 3-3 draw against Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday which took the Light Blues seven points clear of second-placed Celtic at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and they still have a game in hand.
However, despite his goals Boyd struggles to pin down a regular starting berth and although he will in the Rangers squad which flies out to Portugal on Wednesday for the second leg of the UEFA Cup quarter-final tie against Sporting Lisbon, he is unlikely to start.
"It's been frustrating not playing but if you are not frustrated then there is no point in being there," Boyd told Scotland Today.
"As a footballer you want to play every week and I'm no different.
"It's not dented my confidence. It's just up to me to get on the park and show what I can do.
"Knocking on the manager's door is not going to help me.
"He has not turned round and told me that he doesn't want me at the club, so until that day comes I'm happy and I think Rangers will be happy as well."
Rangers travel to Lisbon on the back of a goalless draw from the first leg but Boyd is confident Walter Smith's side can make it in to the semi-final of a European competition for the first time in 36 years.
He said: "We are hanging in there.
"We've got a chance and getting in to the last four would be a remarkable achievement considering there has been so many changes."
