A look ahead to tonight's matches in League One, where Swansea will have their promotion virtually assured with a win over second-placed Carlisle.

FOOTBALL: Swansea City defender Marcos Painter - 0

Carlisle United v Swansea City

Scott Dobie is in contention for a starting berth up front for Carlisle after coming off the bench to score the last-minute winner against Yeovil Town at the weekend.

Midfield duo Paul Thirlwell and Jeff Smith are both still out of action with knee injuries.

Leaders Swansea are boosted by the return of defender Marcos Painter (pictured) after missing five games with an ankle injury.

However, fellow defender Garry Monk (back) and midfielder Ferrie Bodde (groin) are both still out.

Nottingham Forest v Bristol Rovers

Forest defender Julian Bennett is set to miss out after tweaking a hamstring during the 3-1 win over Cheltenham Town at the weekend.

Midfielder Kris Commons, who injured his thigh in that match, is expected to be fit though.

Rovers left-back Aaron Lescott is likely to switch flanks to cover for the injured Danny Coles, with Joe Jacobsen coming in to fill his place.

Southend United v Brighton and Hove Albion

Southend's substantial injury list is added to by defender Lewis Hunt, who is out for the rest of the season with a hernia.

Striker Alex Revell could recover from the same injury to face his old club.

Brighton have defensive absentees of their own, with centre-backs Joel Lynch (knee) and Guy Butters (illness) still out, along with Matt Richards (hamstring), Adam El-Abd and Adam Hinshelwood (both knee).
