Serie A - Juventus release Jorge Andrade

Juventus have released centre-back Jorge Andrade from his contract after the Portugal international suffered two serious knee injuries in two years.
The 30-year-old, signed for around £9 million from Deportivo La Coruna in 2007, missed almost all of last season and has not played this term following a third operation.
Juve said last year they feared he would never be fit enough to cope with the demands of professional football.
The defender was at one stage considering court action, but a deal over a severance package has since been agreed.

I feel sorry for Andrade. He was excellent when at Deportivo. Let's hope he eventually gets fit enough to play again.
Next stop, Newcastle! They could do with another crocked player.
On a serious note, shame for this player as he's quite good. Perhaps someone will snap him up and use him a bit like Ledley King gets used for Tottenham.
