Former Ipswich captain Jason De Vos has admitted he may be tempted to return to the game in a coaching or management role in the future. The Canada international retired as a player after the victory against Hull on Sunday and will return to his homeland to take up a media career with CBC.
But De Vos has not ruled out a return to the game in the future.
"I wouldn't rule out being a manager or a coach one day," he told the club's official website.
"I have learned in football - as in life - not to rule out anything. But whatever I do I want to use the knowledge and experience I have gained in the game for the benefit of Canadian football."
He added: "I want to get involved in the game back home and stay involved. Whether that will be as a coach, a manager, an administrator or through the media, we will have to see."
