Cheltenham boss Keith Downing admits he expects there to be interest in Steven Gillespie over the summer. The striker was one of the Robins' leading lights last season, scoring a creditable 16 goals despite Town spending the campaign fighting a relegation battle.
Downing revealed he intends to spend the summer strengthening his squad, but refused to rule out Gillespie leaving if the price was right.
He told the club's official website: "I would expect some interest in Steven Gillespie because he scored 16 goals last year.
"But we have worked hard to secure players on longer contracts and Gillespie has two years of his to run so we would want a substantial fee."
