London Irish have signed back-row forward Chris Hala'Ufia from their Guinness Premiership rivals Harlequins.
Hala'Ufia, capped 20 times by Tonga, has agreed a two-year contract with the Exiles.
The 29-year-old joined Quins two seasons ago, having previously played for Rotherham and Italian club GRAN Parma.
Irish forwards coach Toby Booth said: "With the introduction of the ELVs (Experimental Law Variations) next season, dynamic ball-carriers will be more important.
"Chris has shown what he can do in this regard, and he is an exciting prospect for us going forward."
