Lynam Hoping For More Chaos

Thu 08 May, 05:09 PM

Tetrarch Stakes winner Capt Chaos is now being aimed for Group One glory by trainer Eddie Lynam.

The Captain Rio colt caused a bit of an upset as the 9-1 outsider of five at the Curragh on Monday where the softer ground seemed to fall in his favour and his trainer has now been filled with plenty of confidence.

"He's come out of the race really well and there is a Group Three race at Leopardstown (Ballycorus Stakes) we might look at," said Lynam.

"We are also keen on stepping up to a mile and taking him to France.

"He's won a Group Three so we are having a look at stepping him up to a Group One. There is the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly in July and he might either go to Leopardstown first or straight to France."
