Championship - Kuqi denies Palace contract reports

Shefki Kuqi insists Crystal Palace have yet to reveal the terms of his new contract offer.

The Eagles top-scorer will be a free agent next month, but the club have offered him and five other players new deals.

However, Kuqi told the South London Press: "I had a chat with the chairman on Sunday and they are going to let me know about the contract.

"Palace know what they can get off me and now it all depends on them - I've left the door open for them.

"The first thing I want to do is listen to their offer. But the last couple of weeks my phone has been ringing every day."

  1. He's 32 and his best days are past him. Let him go­ and get someone who wants to really play fpor the club­ and fans not this mercenary.
