Diego Milito's agent is in London, fuelling speculation that the Genoa striker could move to a Premier League club in the summer.

Reports this morning suggested the 29-year-old is on the verge of sealing a 16 million-euro move to Serie A giants Internazionale.

However, Fernando Hidalgo insists his client, who has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester City, wants to move to the Premier League.

"Is Milito going to Inter? I'm in London and I'm talking to several clubs," Hidalgo told Calciomercato.

"I can't say which clubs they are I can only say that they are important."

He added: "Is it true that I've met directors from Manchester United? If I'm here there's a reason, there are interesting offers for him in the Premier League and we are evaluating them.

"Of course Milito wants to go to England otherwise I wouldn't be here."

Milito has scored 19 goals in 26 Serie A appearances for Genoa since returning to the club from Real Zaragoza in the summer.

  1. Will be great if Milito decided to play with one of England Club. Bright prospect there. If he choose Internazionale instead, he will be nothing. We all believe that.

  6. Hmmm i'm confused, it says he's in London but they're talking about him moving to Man City/United.... interesting.... Don't really see United buying him unless they don't get more priority signings like Valencia, Benzema, Ribery etc... Milito I guess is a "Plan B"
