SYDNEY (Reuters) - Three-times World Player of the Year Zinedine Zidane has pulled out of a planned trip to Australia for personal reasons, local media reported on Thursday.
The former France playmaker was due to play in an exhibition match in Sydney on Sunday alongside other members of the 1998 World Cup-winning team against a side made up of former-Australian internationals. The game has been cancelled.
"It would be like going to see LA Galaxy without (David) Beckham," a spokeswoman told Australian Associated Press.
