VIENNA (Reuters) - Croatia and Turkey were headed for extra time after Friday's Euro 2008 quarter-final finished deadlocked at 0-0 after 90 minutes.
Croatia had the only gilt-edged chance of the first half, when striker Ivica Olic hit the bar from close range and Niko Kranjcar headed the rebound over in the 19th minute.
The Croatians also had the best opportunity after the re-start when Ivan Rakitic worked a one-two with Olic but skied his shot over the bar from well inside the area.
The two sides were battling for a place in Wednesday's semi-final against Germany in Basel.
