Daniel Alves hopes to help Barcelona reclaim the La Liga title after finally being told that his move from Sevilla has been completed. The Brazilian full-back was kept informed about the transfer while on international duty in the United States and will put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract, with the option for a fifth, when he returns.
After seeing a move to Chelsea turned down last summer, Alves has finally secured his dream move for a fee of €32million, that will rise according to his performances.
"I am happy and very satisfied to be part of a club that is as great as Barcelona. I am delighted to have finally reached an agreement. It is a truly great club," he told RAC 1.
"It is a huge motivation because this means that they have faith in my work.
Ambitious"I am an ambitious player and I hope that going to a club of this size means that I can win some big trophies."
Alves is the third new member of Barcelona's reinforced defence following the summer arrivals of Gerard Pique and Martín Caceres and he will meet up with Seydou Keita once again too.
"When things do not go well, there always comes a time when things need changing and that is what they have now done," he continued.
"I want to help Barcelona back up to where they belong and I am very excited about becoming a success there."

Alves SUCKS.......
alves is a boss!!!!!.....great buy barca!!
Dani Alves is a great addition and sure, Barca are starting to look more like a team; with a little bit more creativity on the left and right flanks and Barca would have won La Liga and the Champions League.
Nah, I dont like how Alves plays.....There are much better than him like LAHM or MICAH RICHARDS....
