David Dunn insists there is life at Blackburn after Mark Hughes - but admits losing the manager to Manchester City came as a "huge blow".Hughes' impact in four years at Ewood Park was substantial with Rovers being established as a force in the top half of the table and the club gradually shaking off a bully boy tag to play some enterprising football.
As such it is no surprise to see Dunn lament Hughes' decision to leave, even if the midfielder feels that chairman John Williams will be able to replace him in the Ewood Park hot-seat.
"It's a massive blow," said Dunn in the Lancashire Telegraph. "He brought most of the players to the club, including me, and it's very disappointing to see him leave.
"He's built a good team here and it's a big shame that he won't be staying on to take us forwards. But he's gone now and the club has to move on without him.
"It's not the first time John Williams has had to look for a new manager, and I'm sure he will come up trumps again."

ok so we the rovers lose another good manager ....wer is the commitment...managers always talk about commitment and loyalty from players ....and so shud the manager do the same....mark hughes as been grt for blackburn awesome job he as done..i reckon if he ad done another season or two rovers wud be winning things...so who takes over is the big question...big sam ..no thanks we wud end up like bolton @#$%!!!mcclaren he`s got no bottle and wud hardly atract grt bargain players plus i dont think the team wud want to play for him so he`s a no no....paul ince grt choice i reckon or alan shearer another grt choice..either one of these for me or both wud be nice ..but lets see some loyalty from whoever takes over and lets see loyalty as that of sir alex fergie at utd some 20yrs is it.....and look at utd the best team prolly in the world at the moment....i`d say if we go for ince or shearer then i see very very exciting times at ewood ..probaly better than the time we won the premiership title....COME ON THE ROVERS WILL IT BE PAUL INCES BARMY ARMY or will it be were WALKING ALONG SINGING A SONG WALKIN IN A SHEARER WONDERLAND....Phil
