Cheltenham have altered their pre-season arrangements in order to face Coca-Cola League One club Southampton.

The Robins have cancelled a proposed trip to face Blue Square South outfit Newport County and will now welcome the Saints, who were relegated from the Championship last season, to Whaddon Road on Tuesday, July 14.

Martin Allen's men kick-off their pre-season programme with a friendly against BGB South and West Division club Bishops Cleeve on Friday, July 3.
