Doherty through in China
Ken Doherty beat Jack Lisowski 5-3 to move into the final stages of the Wuxi Classic in China.
The former world champion will feature in round five in Jiangsu Province later in June for the first ranking event of the season after a comfortable win over Lisowski.
The Irishman went 2-0 up with a pair of 63 breaks, completing the win in the eighth.
Jamie Cope ended the run of rising Indian star Aditya Mehta with an exciting 5-4 win that saw Mehta come from 4-2 down to level at 404.
Cope won the deciding frame with a break of 79.
In other results Barry Hawkins beat Jimmy Robertson 5-4 after going 3-0 down, while Marco Fu was sent packing 5-2 by Jamie Burnett.
