SPL - Gattuso craves Rangers return
Gennaro Gattuso has discussed a return to Rangers with manager Ally McCoist, according to the former Italy and AC Milan star's agent.
D'Amico arrived in Scotland on Thursday to kick off talks with with Charles Green, who is leading the consortium in place to take over the Ibrox club, and director of football administration Andrew Dickson, although whether Gattuso becomes a Rangers player again will depend on the lifting of the transfer embargo and on exiting administration.
D'Amico told the Daily Record: "It is Rino's wish to come back to Rangers but first I have to speak to the people at the club to find out what the situation is. He knows all about the Rangers financial situation. We know it is difficult but we can work to find a solution."
He added: "Rino talked with Ally on the telephone. They know each other very well and like and respect each other. Now we have to work to see if something can happen.
"Not being in Europe next season would not be an issue for Rino.
"I will meet with Rangers again tomorrow for further talks."
Green confirmed he had met with Gattuso's agent and added: "Fans should be aware of just how big the club is when one of the greatest players publicly states he wants to finish his career at Rangers at a time when we can't sign anyone.
"He has confirmed he wants to play for Rangers and that is something we could do if we were able to sign someone."

So only 2 -3 days left of RFC....Mr (Loan Shark) Green will already have his '' sham CVA'' failure speech ready and will lay into the HMRC to try and deflect any blame from himself...Then he will announce his plans for a newco (being careful not to mention once again that he stands to make £3,000,000 out of the situation)…RFC fans should hope Dave King (as dodgy as he is too with his past) can block the Green takeover with the Court case he plans over Craigie Whyte’s shares.

Once that CVA clears on Thursday ye can all "dry your eyes".Rangers are back with a vengence!
So Mr (Loan Shark) Green says he cannot reveal the names of the investors until after Thursday.He claims he has 2 teams of investors 1/ for if the CVA goes through & 2/ for if the CVA fails and a newco is created.I would put my money on the following as being what really is going on here.The CVA is all a sham,a smokescreen and Mr (Loan Shark) Green has to pretend something valid has been put on the table for the creditors to look at.The real reason he cannot name the investors though is that for the CVA scenario there are NO investors.The CVA has been set up to fail.However he has to pretend he has tried.Now on Thursday the CVA will be turned down and the newco becomes the only option.And by Mr (Loan Shark) Green’s own recent admission in an interview with the Daily Rec he says if the newco is the way things turn out then he will make £3,000,0000 straight away (for himself).
Hope to see him rolling around the newco's pitch throwing a tantrum soon!
