LONDON (Reuters) - Irish Derby betting has been re-jigged after an injury scare over hot favourite New Approach.
The Epsom Derby winner has drifted with one of the leading exchanges from 4-5 to around 6-4. Another firm suspended betting for a while until the position became clearer.
Irish trainer Jim Bolger is not expected to make a final decision until Sunday, the day of the big race at the Curragh.
He told Saturday's Racing Post that the colt had not been 100 percent comfortable in his box, adding: "I'm not sure about the extent of the problem but we think it's a foot bruise."
New Approach has dominated the market since winning at Epsom three weeks ago when he beat Tartan Bearer by half a length.
Tartan Bearer, trained by Michael Stoute at Newmarket, remains second favourite for Sunday's race, but trimmed from 3-1 to 5-2.
