Norfolk-born businessman Peter Cullum has revealed Norwich have agreed to meet him to discuss his bid to take control of the club. The 57-year-old executive chairman of the award-winning Towergate Partnership and ranked in the top 40 of Britain's rich list last week announced he was prepared to plough £20million into the Carrow Road side.
Norwich responded by telling the billionaire businessman it will cost £56million to take over although majority shareholders Delia Smith and her husband Michael Wynn Jones have now decided to meet with him.
Cullum, a self-confessed City fan, told the Evening News: "Delia and Michael have had a change of heart and felt it would be worthwhile sitting down to discuss the parameters.
"At this stage it is still just an indicative offer. We are going to look at whether a deal can be done. At least we are talking now, before there was no dialogue.
"I greatly admire what Delia and Michael have done for the club and want them to be a part of it going forward."
