Barnsley midfielder Simon Heslop is hoping to earn a loan deal with League Two promotion hopefuls Rochdale.The 21-year-old, who has made only one first-team appearance for the Tykes, is currently training with the Spotland club.
Heslop spent last season on loan at Northwich and Halifax in the Football Conference.
