Inverness have announced that striker Dean McDonald has left the club by mutual consent - and he is likely to join Rushden & Diamonds.The 22-year-old former Gillingham player joined the Highland outfit last summer but failed to start a game.

The last of his seven substitute appearances came in January and he has been released in order to begin signing talks with Blue Square Premier side Rushden & Diamonds.
