Valencia have denied reports they want to sign unsettled Tottenham full-back Pascal Chimbonda.
Speculation has claimed the La Liga club are among the teams interested in signing Chimbonda, who is expected to leave White Hart Lane during the summer.
The France international's agent stated last month that Spurs would be willing to sell Chimbonda for a fee in the region of £2million.
Chimbonda is keen to play regular first-team football next season, with the January signings of Alan Hutton and Chris Gunter impacting on his opportunities in the Spurs side.
Former Tottenham boss Martin Jol has been linked with a move to take Chimbonda to Hamburg, but Valencia have denied an interest in the 29-year-old.
"We have made no move at all for that player," the club's sporting director Juan Sanchez told Marca.
Valencia's immediate priority is to offload players, with several members of the squad set to be sold or loaned out after being told that they are not part of new coach Unai Emery's plans.
David Albelda, Curro Torres, Jaime Gavilan, Mario Regueiro and Sisi, among others, all have to be found new clubs in the next few weeks.
"There is interest from various clubs, but that is not easy because there are so many details involved," Sanchez continued.
Los Che are looking to add to their numbers too, but will not be rushed into buying players, with Sanchez adding: "The coach will have the players that he wants.
"There is no tension and we are all working hard, but there are often delays in these matters."

I remember the days when Pascal Chimbonda was a decent player.
