MARSEILLE, France (Reuters) - Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has been added to France's squad for Wednesday's friendly against Sweden after Olympique Marseille's Hatem Ben Arfa pulled out, the French Football Federation said on Monday.
Nasri, 21, who joined Arsenal from Marseille this season and was replaced by Ben Arfa, has scored twice in 12 internationals.
He marked his debut for the London side on Saturday by scoring the winning goal against West Bromwich Albion.
Ben Arfa, who joined Marseille from seven-times champions Olympique Lyon, was substituted late in his side's 4-0 victory over Auxerre, complaining of a groin strain.
The match will be staged in Gothenburg.

Why don't France leave this guy at least for now that the season is just commencing, and mostly for the fact that Arsenal is now plagued with lots of injury conerns. What if anything happens to Nasri again after he just finished nursing one injury setback recently before the league game vs WBA. At least Arsenal should held on to him now since the France's game is just a friendly. I personally don't fancy his inclusion in France's squad. Albeit, I wish him well before, during and after the friendly.
HAH! He just made his debut and now called? I really hope he is not injury prone type like RVP.
NO,
I do not want to see Eboue in the midfield. Please, I have had enough of him. Seeing that Wenger is going to buy someone before the 27th (home leg to FC Twente), Stephen Appiah is the perfect signing. He will be cheap (free agent) and would certainly prefer a side having more future (Arsenal) over a team that is assembled by Monkeys ( Hotspuds).
This team will look much better : Almunia, Sagna,Clichy,Gallas, Toure, Rosicky,Fabregas,Appiah,Nasri,Van Persie,Adebayor.
You are indeed a great signing to Arsenal squard. I see you blending with the team very fast and if some of the regular players return from injuries, the team will be a perfect blend with nasri, rosicky, fabregas and eboue at the centre.
