Fri 08 Aug, 02:30 PM

Stockport midfielder Stephen Gleeson is an injury doubt ahead of the clash at Huddersfield on Saturday after rejoining the club from Wolves.Republic of Ireland international Gleeson, 20, played in County's 2-2 draw with Manchester City at Edgeley Park last weekend and boss Jim Gannon has now completed the loan move ahead of the Galpharm Stadium clash. Gleeson, however, is struggling with a toe problem.

Gannon could also hand debuts to four new players in Carl Baker, Peter Thompson, Johnny Mullins and Owain fon Williams.

Attacking midfielder Baker signed from Morecambe in a £225,000 deal and striker Thompson arrived in a transfer worth £150,000 from Linfield.

Defender Mullins joined from Mansfield and goalkeeper Williams from Crewe but a trio of midfielders could miss out.

Jason Taylor is definitely out of action for around eight weeks, but Dominic Blizzard and Paul Turnbull should both return to full training before the weekend and may yet feature.
