Defender Robbie Stockdale is Grimsby manager's Alan Buckley's main injury concern for the visit of Rochdale to Blundell Park on Saturday.The former Middlesbrough trainee, who joined from Tranmere earlier this summer, is rated 50-50 to feature against Dale after sustaining a calf problem in the pre-season friendly against Scunthorpe last weekend.
One man who is almost certain to miss out is Paul Bolland (knee), while fellow midfielder Danny Boshell is a fitness doubt.
Striker Danny North is back in training after overcoming a hamstring injury and could be involved while new boys Matt Heywood, Richard Hope and Chris Llewellyn are all vying to make their competitive debuts for the club.
