Serie A - Sneijder: I'm for sale at Inter

Mon, 08 Aug 09:58:00 2011

Wesley Sneijder has alerted Manchester United and Manchester City by claiming that Internazionale have made him available for transfer this summer.

Serie A - Sneijder: I'm for sale

The Netherlands international has been strongly linked with both Manchester clubs, although Roberto Mancini denied a report in Gazzetta dello Sport that City have all but signed the playmaker.

Though Sneijder says he has spoken to neither club about a move, he believes that Inter will let him leave if a suitable offer arrives.

“I only know Inter need money and I could leave if the right offer comes in,” he told Voetbal International.

“I have a five-day holiday after Wednesday’s friendly against England and I hope the issues regarding my future can be clarified during that time off.

“I am proud to hear both United and City are interested in me, but so far I have not had contact with either club.

“When it comes to my future, that is all I can say.”

Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini said on Sunday that Sneijder's future will be addressed this week.

  2. I hope he doesn't come. He's only in it for the money, hence he doesn't care if it's United or City as long as he gets his fat cheque. Another bloody parasite.

  3. Sneijder would be a great signing. But young Tom Cleverley deserves a chance he brought a spark not seen in utd midfield since Keane and Scholes were at there peak!!!.

  4. he's a complete box to box player, can totally run a game passing, movement, dribbling has it all world class(just think he didnt settle at barca) but 45mill not the united way. give tomboy a chance after all even if he did join i dont think we would reach the level barca and real are currently at. for that kind of money ud have to almost be guaranteed to win the CL but for me messi and ronny would still be the diff. And then theres city, who wud mancini drop, 1 of his 2 def-mids cant see dat happening(altho every1 seems to be in agreement dat he should) revert to a 4-5-1 with silva johnson wide and play him behind aguero, and what if tevez stays 200plus thousand a wk to sit on a bench, nice work if u can get it. so only way i see him in PL is a swap deal for tevez!

  5. Sneijder is a big talent, with those lethal free kicks. I 'm sure that he will find a suitable team. I think that the premiership will enhance his talents. I still think that the premiership is miles ahead of Serie A. He would probably lose his edge if he stays in Italy. Besides I think Inter is on the decline. He is wasting his time if he stays there.

  15. I am not a Man United or City fan but who ever you are you must admire United, their group of youngster showed their worth against so called Man. City high rollers.
When u can have your car car pranked with kippers and buy a Motor cycle you are not allowed to ride shows you the calibre and types of players City are recruiting. Then someone turns up without his boots and can't play because his feet hurt.
Whats is going on at City

  18. when will they ever learn-£ M400 Man City on yesterdays evidence will have to spend another £M400- get rid of the trash who just play for the money and have no loyality to the club and you might just start building a club to rival Man Utd-Tevez is a brilliant player but he has no loyalty at all he will play for the highest bidder - but after all Sundays game was only a friendly
The wise old owl (fergie) has uncovered another group of youngsters that will dominate the premier league for another decade .
