La Liga - Inter chief 'crazy about Messi'

Internazionale defender Javier Zanetti claims club president Massimo Moratti is desperate to sign Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

"Moratti is crazy about Messi," the 36-year-old utility man told El Mundo Deportivo. "He wanted to have him in the team but at the moment it's impossible. With Messi in the team Inter would be extraordinary."

Zanetti also conceded that such a move would be near impossible due to the loyalty of fellow Argentine Messi (pictured) to Barca.

"He doesn't want to leave," he added.

"All the times that we have spoken about that he has said that he is very happy, that he is having fun and that he loves the way Barca plays football - and all their people.

"That shows that he is a leader. But maybe when I am an official of Inter I will have the chance to bring him over."

    on one day messi will leave Barcelona , because legends­ must prove themselfs in more than one european leauge ,­ if he wants to the best ever player he must do the same­ with another european club in Italy or england . but­ this will never happen before 3 years from now at least­ he will get another liga cup CL with barca before he­ quit to another challenge
