Bury boss Alan Knill has urged fans to show their support for his team ahead of this weekend's home clash with Northampton.
Knill was unhappy after some supporters voiced their frustration during Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash against Tranmere.
A young Shakers side trailed 1-0 at half-time but hit back after the break to seal a 2-1 victory.
Knill said: "You listen to people's reactions, and in the first half some of the crowd were getting on the players' backs.
"Eight of the players were under 23 so they are still learning the game.
"Encouragement would help, but in the second half we did everything that we wanted to do in the first half."

We are a hard to please bunch. Smallest grouping, but probably some of the most dedicated fans in the country (especially those who go 'Away') - but we are never satisfied and whinge too much.
It is never boring mid-table grind for Bury at the end of the season - if you want constant success - follow Chelsea or Man Utd - but how boring would that be?
1 amongst 6 Million? Rather be 1 in 8000 thanks!
