Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins blamed "a crazy five minutes" for his side's 3-1 defeat at Blackpool.
The Iron were comfortably the better side for an hour and took the lead through Paul Hayes' 51st-minute opener, before Ian Evatt levelled for the home side.
But goalkeeper Joe Murphy was then sent off for deliberate handball, with the decision paving the way for Charlie Adam, Ben Burgess and Alex Baptiste to seal a sixth home win of the season for Blackpool.
Adkins said: "We came with a good game plan and it really worked for us. Blackpool are an excellent side but they could not find a way round our formation in the first half.
"We were the side who were creating chances and I think we looked dangerous, particularly down the flanks.
"Then we get one up and all of a sudden things fall apart in that five-minute period. We get our goalkeeper sent off. I feel sorry for him but the referee had no option and from then on we were up against it."

Well said, Luke W, it is so refreshing to read a 'I was there' comment. Just what a person wants to read.
Blackpool did'nt seem up for it first half but to say "The Iron were comfortably the better side for an hour" is rubbish its was quite even game either side could have gone in at half time 1-0 up. The Scunthorpe goal was the kick up the arse we needed and as soon as evatt equalised Blackpool were always going to win the match whether there keeper was sent off or not. Scunthorpe did'nt deserve a 4-1 defeat but at the end of the day we could easly of had a few more.
Who wrote this article, it was 4-1! ( Hard luck Scunny, all the same.)
