Boss John Sheridan expects a response from his players after describing Chesterfield's FA Cup defeat to Bournemouth as their 'worst performance of the season.'
The Spireites beat Bournemouth in the league last month but the south coast club turned the tables at Saltergate with a 3-1 victory to go through to the second round.
"I'm disappointed that we are not in the hat but too many players had an off day and now it's up to us to bounce back," said Sheridan. "Hopefully they don't like getting beaten because I certainly don't, but that performance didn't merit anything.
"It was a very disappointing performance. We got off to a very good start but after Jack Lester's goal we didn't really get anything, and we had too many people off their game.
"Full credit to Bournemouth, they deserved to win, but we just didn't get going for some reason.
"I really fancied us with the front four that I put out and thought that we would cause them problems, but that was our worst game of the season performance-wise."
