Exeter boss Paul Tisdale hailed his players for their serene FA Cup progress over Nuneaton.
The Southern Premier League side were on the back foot from the kick-off as Matt Taylor scored twice while Barry Corr and Guy Hadland's own goal gave the Grecians a four-goal half-time lead.
"That early goal was really important and the second really killed it off," said Tisdale. "One goal is never enough in a game like this so the second goal was really timely.
"By the time the third went in, we were able to relax a little bit."
