Arsenal secured an emphatic 4-1 victory against Wolves to keep the pressure up at the top of the Barclays Premier League table.
They got a helping hand in the first half from the home side, with both Ronald Zubar and Jody Craddock scoring own goals.
Arsenal kept their foot on the pedal, Cesc Fabregas and Andrei Arshavin extending their lead before Craddock got a consolation goal at the correct end.
Wolves came close to making the breakthrough in the 10th minute when Nenad Milijas delivered the corner. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake peeled away from his marker but he failed to test goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, his close range header going wide.
Arsenal went ahead in the 28th minute and there was a stroke of luck about their effort. Fabregas swung in a corner from the left and the ball took a deflection off Zubar, under pressure from Eduardo, for an own goal.
The home side were undone again seven minutes later and by another own goal. Eduardo raced forward only to see his chip deflect off Craddock.
They extended their lead in stoppage time when Fabregas scored in front of the posts after a simple ball from Robin van Persie.
Arshavin came close to extending Arsenal's lead in the 63rd minute when he cut inside, only for Wayne Hennessy to turn away his effort.
Arshavin got his reward a minute later, latching on to Hennessey`s clearance from a corner by Fabregas and thumping the ball home.
Craddock scored at the right end this time with a header from substitute Matt Jarvis's corner.

Wolves were hardly the better team. They settled down at home quicker than Arsenal did and their rush about like blue arsed flies was always going to unsettle the better teams, but at the end of the day some truly dreadful defending cost them the first two goals. After that it was a case of how many would Arsenal score.
McCarthy is an honest sort of bloke and realises that it is the teams around them and the games won or lost against them that will determine where they play next year...
about 20 days left for other clash between arsenal and chelsea. Hope that the prof.have ready up Arsenal to hold those chelsea attack and gun off those back 4.
we're counting on it guys!!
I believe with the spirit our guyz are playing the sky is the begining for us. One thing that i personaly will like to change about our team (GOONERS) is that we should learn not to concede unwarranted goals at d end of our matches. I don't blame Wolves for playing the way they played 10-15 of the match it's their home and they want to prove something but EPL matches is not about starting it's the way end ur game. I'm Gooner 4 life.
the introduction of song was the difference...wolves would not have being accessed as good in the first half if song had started alongside fabregas and the 18 year old ramsey.
Go Arsenal.!!
the dingle bashing continues
As I said yesterday Wolves and their manager are honest and hard working. In the past Arsenal would have drawn or lost the game. Hail the Gooooner's and Mr W. keep the faith all you Gooooner's fans, as big Frank said "The Best is yet to come"
Wolves really were the better team till the first goal.
We cant expect to beat these top four teams, eduardo cost more than our entire squad!
Never mind boys, easy trip to chelsea away next week!
