Southampton will travel to Northampton in the FA Cup second round.
Saints reached round two with a 3-2 win at League One rivals Bristol Rovers on Friday night. David Connolly scored twice with Michail Antonio netting the third goal.
The Cobblers beat non-league Fleetwood Town 2-1 in round one courtesy of Luke Guttridge's double.
The tie at Sixfields will be played the weekend of November 28-29.
