Brown happy with Henrik progress

Wed 09 Jan, 04:45 PM

Hull striker Henrik Pedersen is closing in on a welcome return to first-team action at the KC Stadium, much to boss Phil Brown's delight.Having been sidelined by two knee injuries, Pedersen's City career has so far consisted of just five appearances since joining from Bolton.

But the 32-year-old is expected to feature in a reserve-team clash against Lincoln next week and could soon be back in manager Phil Brown's plans.

"It's been a frustrating time for him in the past couple of months but he's making good progress," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"He'll look to play some part at Lincoln and hopefully he'll be able to come through that and look towards the first team."
