Southampton manager George Burley has played down his chances of landing the vacant Scotland job.Burley is reported to be on a four-man shortlist - alongside Mark McGhee, Tommy Burns and ex-Saints boss Graeme Souness - in contention to replace Alex McLeish, who quit in November to take over at Birmingham.
But he told the Daily Echo: "I don't think that will come at the moment.
"I've always been an advocate of an English manager managing England and a Scottish manager managing Scotland, but that's up to the SFA."
