Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has backed fellow Italian Fabio Capello to be a success as coach of the England national team.Cannavaro, who captained Italy to World Cup glory in 2006, has played under Capello at both Juventus and Real, where last season they won the Primera Liga title after each moving from Juve the previous summer.

And the 34-year-old centre-back is confident Capello will be able to get a much-maligned England side back on track following their failure to qualify for Euro 2008.

"He will triumph," Cannavaro said on Real Madrid's website. "He loves the impossible challenges. He enjoys being up against it."
