Iain Dowie insists striker Michael Mifsud is staying at Coventry, despite fierce speculation linking him with a move away from the Ricoh Arena. The Maltese international has impressed for the Sky Blues this season scoring 15 goals, including a brace against Premier League sides Manchester United and Blackburn in the Carling Cup and FA Cup respectively.
But Dowie has dismissed any talk of the 26-year-old leaving the Championship outfit and insists he intends to keep all of his best players.
"There has been a huge amount of speculation about what offers we have had but we have had no offers or bids for Michael or Tabby (Jay Tabb)," he told the Coventry Telegraph.
"I don't know whether we will. My view is we have got some good players here and those two lads are key assets to taking the club forward."
