Scunthorpe's new signing Kevin Horlock is determined to prove the doubters wrong after an injury-plagued two years.Horlock had his contract at Doncaster cancelled by mutual consent earlier this week, but despite long-term knee and shoulder injuries, the Iron have offered the 35-year-old a deal until the end of the season.
Horlock told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "It must be a risk from the club's point of view because I've not played a lot of games.
"For the club to say they will take me to the end of the season, I'm very thankful. But I know it's not a risk. I'm raring to go and chomping at the bit.
"When you have a long injury it's incredible how much hunger you get back to play football again.
"I've been training since October. The only slight problem I've got is match fitness, which only comes from playing games."
