Leicester boss Ian Holloway believes his new signings will have a positive effect on the squad and won't rule out bringing in more new faces.Holloway has already signed strikers Steve Howard and Barry Hayles, goalkeeper Ben Alnwick and Hungarian midfielder Zsolt Laczko, while Hungarian winger Gabor Bori also joined on loan until the end of the season.
He told the Leicester Mercury: "I have never worked so hard but we are getting there. The squad will be improved and will be better balanced in every position. That is the aim and I am looking forward to getting everything together and settled down in time.
"As I have said before, one of the biggest tasks was to try to snap the squad out of the air of negativity - and good, strong characters coming in should help.
"In Steve Howard, I have got who I believe to be the best centre-forward in the division, and now we have got the ammunition for him and the other strikers with the new wingers.
"I am very optimistic about things. That is the way I am and I have already seen positive signs. Now we have to turn all of this into results as quickly as possible."
