QPR striker Rowan Vine insists the big-spending west-Londoners will not become complacent as they attempt to climb the Championship table.Vine, who on Tuesday became Rangers' eighth January signing when he made his recent loan deal permanent, admits the rest of the division will be wary of his side but insists they have set no targets.

Rangers, who were propping up the Championship table a month ago, are now just nine points off the play-off places but Vine is adamant no-one at the club is getting carried away with their recent success.

"The lads aren't talking about promotion just yet," said the striker. "We went through a very bad spell of luck but hopefully we've come out of that now.

"We will always be positive and we've all seen what Crystal Palace and Sunderland have done in the past.

"People look at our squad now and they have every right to be fearful. Our mentality is to really kick on and go for it."
