Montepaschi Siena of Italy beat Greek side Panathinaikos 82-77 to move into second place in Group B of the Euroleague with one round of matches to play.
Terrell McIntyre was the standout performer for Siena, bagging 21 points and converting eight of nine free-throws to see his side home.
Siena led 43-37 at half-time, but Panathinaikos drew level in the third quarter led by Mike Batiste - who accrued an impressive 28 points and matched McIntrye's record from the free-throw line.
Siena, on 16 points, are now just one point adrift of Group B leaders Barcelona, with Panathinaikos in third on 15.
In Group A, League leaders Unicaja claimed a dramatic 77-76 win over Cibona Zagreb to hold onto top spot, while Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Olympiacos 96-83 to draw level with the Greek side on 15 points.
Fenerbahce Ulker defeated Ljubliana 90-70 in Group C, where the game of the night saw Tau Ceramica beat Lottomatica Roma 103-96 after overtime.
The solitary clash in Group D saw Armani Jeans Milano trump Real Madrid 70-61 to keep alive their slim hopes of progressing.
