Round-up: Leinster stretched their lead at the top of the RaboDirect PRO12 table to 14 points after surging past Benetton Treviso 42-8 at the RDS.

Ian Madigan crossed for his sixth try of the campaign at the midpoint of the first half, helping the province on their way to an 11-3 advantage at the break.

Matteo Muccignat's opportunist try saw the Italians draw closer, but Leinster blitzed them in the final quarter, scoring four tries to secure the bonus point.

Glasgow rose to third after a comfortable 19-9 victory over Scarlets in an uninspiring encounter at Firhill Stadium.

Scotland international fly-half Ruaridh Jackson notched 14 points, supplementing a sole try from prop Jon Welsh, while Scarlets countered through nine points from the boot of Dan Newton.

The Welsh side's efforts proved in vain however as the Warriors emerged victorious in front of a typically vocal home support.
