Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has said he has "not even thought about" becoming the next England manager.
Redknapp, who has been cleared of tax evasion charges, is the firm favourite to replace Fabio Capello, who resigned after talks with Football Association chairman David Bernstein.
Redknapp spoke as he left his home near Poole on Thursday and played down talk of him stepping in to guide the team at Euro 2012.
He said on Sky News: "I've not even thought about it. I've got a job to do. I've got a big game on Saturday for Tottenham. Tottenham is my focus."
Tottenham face Newcastle at the weekend and Redknapp insists all his attention is on that fixture.
Asked whether he could help out England this summer, Redknapp said: "I've never thought about it. They (the Football Association) will make whatever decision they want to make. Hopefully it'll be the right decision for the country but my focus is all on Tottenham."

Perhaps the Club would hold on to Harry's Contract. After all, they stopped Luca leaving for Chelsea and relied on the Croatian's loyalty to continue performing for the club.

Harry Redknapp is the best manager that Tottenham have had since the Great Billy Nicholson in the sixties. He took 2 years to build a team skillful enough to win the double. Harry could achieve similar heights with this current squad of players. Please, Harry, don't go , stay and prove me right.. Right from the beginning of his reign I said he would bring the Glory Days back to The Lane and he will if he is allowed to carry it through.
we need you at spurs harry your doing a great job there the england squard couldnt win a tea cup
please please stay at spurs harry you"re doing a great job, we will never win the world cup there"s to many ballerina"s instead of footballers on the pitch
The aim of any football manager would be to reach the top, and the top here would be to manage your International team. On that count I would not blame Harry if he excepted the post if offered. On the other hand iwould rather Harry decide to stay at the lane and take Tottenham all the way to the prem title. Of course all the other prem managers are saying Harry is the one for the job lets face it gets him off their backs everyweek.
