West Ham are reportedly preparing to sack Alan Curbishley and have already sought out potential replacements after successive 4-0 defeats.The Hammers - currently 10th in the Premier League have been thumped in their last two games and Curbishley's men have come under fire from the fans for their negative approach.

"Curbishley may get until the end of the season, but other candidates are being considered. And he is aware of his situation," a source quoted in the Observer revealed.

Barracked by supporters during the 4-0 defeat at Liverpool on Wednesday night, Curbishley is accused of failing to inspire his players and lacking ambition.

A spokesperson for the club has denied Curbishley's future was on the agenda during the week's board meeting.
