Yeovil manager Russell Slade is adamant his side will not be dragged into a League One relegation scrap despite their recent drop in form.Town eased their fears with only their second victory in 13 outings since the turn of the year, beating Cheltenham 2-1.

An own goal by Alan Wright and one from Andy Kirk gave the Glovers the points, while Steve Brooker netted in between for Cheltenham.

Slade said: "In the last five games we have won two, drawn one and lost two. That doesn't suggest the form of a team that will be in a relegation battle.

"Obviously I was delighted with the result and there were a lot of pluses in the performance.

"We have used 37 players this season and 27 of them have suffered injuries. The players who have come in have done well."
