Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson could select the same starting XI that has won three successive matches when MK Dons visit Saltergate. An unchanged Spireites thrashed Lincoln 4-1 on Friday and will hope for a repeat of the 2-1 victory they inflicted on the promotion-chasing Dons in November.
That means striker Jack Lester could add to his mammoth tally of 24 goals this season, and on-loan Sheffield United midfielder Lloyd Kerry will start again after scoring his first goals for the club against the Imps.
Jamie Annerson, also on loan from Bramall Lane, could be named as a substitute if Richardson decides he wants a second goalkeeper on the bench as back-up to first-choice stopper Barry Roche.
Defender Peter Hartley continued playing after an early knock against Lincoln so Gregor Robertson (hip) is expected to be Chesterfield's only injury absentee.
